Mr Nguyen Xuan Tung – Chairman, CEO

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tung is a young, dynamic and successful investor, businessman and Fulbright financial analysis teacher. Transformational leadership, a high sense of citizenship and responsible instruction are ingrained in his personality.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tung acknowledged the opportunities and challenges in his future career and in the Vietnamese market in the early stages of his education. After completing studies at the Economic University of Ho Chi Minh City, where he learned about every aspect of the economic challenges in Vietnam, he began to pursue his BA and MA in Finance at Monash University in Australia. At this time, he continued to prove his instinct for finance by winning an award as the top student in Financial Strategies and other majors in the school. He has also visited and attended corporate training programs with well-recognized banks and financial institutes in England, Switzerland and across Europe. He has also built up his knowledge from working as a mortgage consultant and asset valuation and financial manager in different organizations throughout Australia. After taking comprehensive financial courses and gaining the necessary business skills, he graduated with from his Master’s program with honors. Since returning to Vietnam, he has completed his professional training program in the 2008 Management Practice and Financial Products Marketing for Securities Firms issued by the State Security Commission of Vietnam. While teaching in the Fulbright program, a cooperative program between the Economic University of Ho Chi Minh City and the John F. Kennedy State School of Harvard University, he was in charge of financial analysis which cultivated him to become a devoted teacher who is always willing to contribute to Vietnam’s educational qualifications and improving labor force.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tung is a confident and adept businessman who has made himself a powerful influence wherever he goes. His career is built upon a comprehensive educational foundation crafted in Vietnam and Australia. He is now leading VIPC as chairman where with his management skills and passionate business strategy he hopes to bring a win-win-win solution to the company, investors and investees.

Mr Luu Tuong Bach – Vice Chairman

Mr. Bach started his carrier as a public servant at State Bank of Vietnam (Central Bank). When Vietnam moved toward market economy, he was the first team of State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC), then one of the key people to set up HCMC Trading Center – now HCMC Securities Exchange (HOSE).
From 2003, he joined the private sector and founded Song Ngan Investment Service Corporation. Song Ngan was the main founder of Horizon Securities Corporation which Mr. Bach was CEO from 2006 – 2008. In 2007, Global Commodities Trading Corporation was founded by Mr. Bach to diversify with future trading in Vietnam Commodities Exchange.
Mr. Bach is the professional senior who covers most of Investment Banking business. He focuses in corporate finance and restructuring, investment and M&A. He currently holds following positions:

Mr. Bach is well-known in the business and investment community. Also, he has a good network with public institutions and governmental bodies. Mr. Bach has supporting many overseas entrepreneurs to access and niche the business in Vietnam.

Mr Nguyen Duc An Son – Vice President

Mr. Nguyen Duc An Son is the Vice President of VIPC who is in charge of international investor relation. Mr. Son has diversify experience in international financing and international connections in different industries. He has extensive experience in global commodities trading. He held executive position in several companies specialized in seafood manufacturing and exporting. He is handling annual amount of over US$200 Million in trading activities in Vietnam. He is the Chief Representative of Mekatrade Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore which is a Swiss based multinational trading company specialize in fertilizer trading and financing. He is the chairman of GE Fertilizer Corporation which specialize in providing low cost financing service for Vietnam fertilizer importers. He is also the General Director of GE Corporation, a Vietnam based company specialized in consumer product distribution.

Mr. Son spent five years studying and working in Manila, Philippines where he obtained his BSBA and MBA in Business Management. Mr. Son spent several years working in Manila, Singapore and USA. He has thorough understanding of Vietnam business environment and politically well connected which make him a valuable member of VIPC.

Doan Duc Vinh – Board member

Currently, he also holds the position of Chairman in the Paragon Investment Corporation and Au Viet Securities Corporation. Mr. Vinh accumulated a great deal of work experience in financial investments while spending time working in Ukraine. He participated in setting up the Service Group Corporation in Kharkov, Ukraine where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to working with the Service Group Corporation, he was chosen to be the investment consultant for Riman Investment Corporation, Kharkov, Ukraine.

He studied in both the Soviet Union and Ukraine where he received a MS degree in Economics and Doctorate of Philosophy in Engineering Sciences at the East-Ukraine State University.

Mr. Hoang Duc Hoa – Board member

On behalf of Paragon’s shareholding in VIPC, Mr. Hoa is a participating member of the board of directors. In this position, Mr. Hoa acts as chief advisor in investments and marketing in support of the board of management of VIPC. Mr. Hoa brings the value of over fifteen years of top management level experience to VIPC.

He has served variously as an investment advisor, project manager and marketing specialist. Currently, he is the Director of Paragon Joint Stock Company. Mr. Hoa graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Technology of Voroshilovgrad Ukraine and from the Economic University with a Bachelor of Economics.

Ms. Vu Thi Toan – Board member

She has a strong background in financial accounting activities. Prior to working with Horizon Security Corporation, she was an accountant for the Vietnam National General Export and Import Company No.1, Ho Chi Minh City branch.
